ORGANIZING VOLUNTEER RESCUE TEAMS
Ivan Kristoff is the founder of the H.E.A.R.T. and S.O.S. volunteer rescue teams. When asked why he invested a lot of time and money in these not-for-profit initiative, Kristoff said: ‘I wanted to give rope access workers a second chance in situations where no one could help them’.
Born in Bulgaria, Ivan Kristoff has had a lot of situations back home, where he wishes somebody helped him when climbing.

Ivan, dubbed Spiderman by the media, has raised $450,000 for children in Toronto though his demonstrations and partnership with the City of Toronto. When asked to perform for the promotion of Spiderman 4 by the representatives for Sony Pictures in Bulgaria, Kristoff proposed to create a series of initiatives to inspire the young people in arts with the concept “Spiderman 4 Safety”. Soon he will organize the Charity Auction for his initiatives.
Ivan Kristoff sponsors initiatives for young people, student’s projects, climbers and members of Club E.X.T.R.E.M.E. On December, 2012, he initiated the Ivan Kristoff ‘s Awards. One of his current project is the development of 1k² Urban Off-road Park for enduro riders. Ivan also helps the development of the Canadian Highrise Emergency Aerial Response Team (HEART) and the Bulgarian Specialized Operations Service (SOS) Team.
For this reason he contributes his know how, resources and assistance in finding sponsors for these organizations. He can leverage the media to showcase your company in his projects, amounting to a mutual public relations victory. He has extensively featured product placements in Reuters, CNN, TSN, Global TV, CBC, City TV, CTV, The Globe & Mail to name a few. Areas in which Ivan can work together with sponsors include:· Product/TV advertisement, articles, product placement, case studies, etc.

· Acknowledgement of sponsorship contributions at a wide range of national and international conferences at which Ivan presents his innovative concepts to the world of rescue.
· Sponsor’s name and logo on his clothes, helicopter, paraglider, boat and transporting vehicles during promotional events.

It all started with the Ivan Kristoff’s first initiative – the Canadian Rescue Emergency Service Team (CREST)
CREST offre les services suivants : recherche et sauvetage en cas d’avalance et en milieu urbain; recherche et sauvetage en montagne; recherche et sauvetage nautiques et en paroi rocheuse; para-SAR, collecte de preuves pour les enquetes post-accident; montage audio, video et numerique des documents de formation; programmes de prevention des accidents. Les membres de l’organisme se specialisent dans les techniques de cordage et de cablage pour les interventions SAR en lieux eleves ou inaccessibles; le rappel en helicoptere; le reperage medico-legal; le ski de randonnee et le ski en conditions extremes lors d’interventions SAR; l’alpinisme en paroi rocheuse et glacee; la speleologie; la nage aerienne; la plongee sous-marine et la descente en parachute planeur. Ils sont formes dans les domaines suivants : communication, informatique, secourisme de base et en region sauvage, RCR, sauvetage, survie et alpinisme. L’organisme possede une vaste gamme de materiel SAR, dont des cordages, des echelles de cable, des systemes de hissage, de l’equipement de sauvetage en montagne et en paroi rocheuse, des parachutes planeurs, des harnais, du materiel de rappel et d’autres equipements. Fonde en 1993, l’organisme compte 17 membres benevoles.
Services include avalanche SAR, urban, high-altitude, water and high-angle SAR, and Para-SAR, evidence collection for post-accident investigation, audio, video, and digital editing for training programs, and provision of accident prevention programs. Members specialize in rope and wire cable rigging for high-rise buildings and inaccessible places, helicopter rappelling, forensic mapping, cross-country and extreme skiing for SAR, rock and ice climbing, caving, skydiving, scuba diving, and para-gliding. Members are trained in communication and computer skills, basic and wilderness first aid, CPR, life-guarding, survival, rock climbing, and lifesaving. Resources include ropes, wire cable tactical ladders, wire cable winch hoisting system, high-angle and high-altitude rescue gear, para-gliders, harnesses, and rappelling and other equipment. Founded 1993. Seventeen volunteer members.
