Exclusive promoter for Traser H3 Swiss Made watches
Ivan Kristoff’s successful campaign as an Exclusive Promoter of a Swiss watchmaker resulted in a proposal to become the Brand Ambassador for Traser H3 Swiss made Watches. In the “Fire Off” Musical clip, you will see Ivan Kristoff’s video musical clip with product placement of Traser H3 Extreme Watches.
In his musical and video clips, Ivan, aka The Canadian Spiderman, shows his favorite traser® H3 watch – the AVIATOR JUNGMEISTER. This is a Swiss made watch with unreached readability. He has used and tried a lot of watches over the years, but now he was intrigued by the skeleton construction and innovative illumination system of the traser® H3 Swiss Made Professional Watches. As Ivan prepares for his new projects, the Traser® H3 Extreme Sport Watch has the honor of participating in this outstanding episode in the history of human endeavor.
“I like the Traser® H3 Extreme Sports Chronograph watch and the Nike outfit, because besides their products construction, materials and functionality, they are adventure-loving brands and part of my outdoor life“, says filmmaker Ivan Kristoff.

“Thanks to my research on the best available technologies, that can guarantee visibility at the dark for a long duration, I have the solution to the quest for the perfect, light and reliable watch that can serve me for a long time. Therefore, I am very happy to present you to the winner of the completion in the reliable timekeeping – The traser® H3 P 6502 Long Life Swiss made watch.
I am a collector of limited edition Swiss made watches. I know what a good watch is and I know the pain, when I scratch it. That is why I was looking for a light and soft edge bezel like the Carbon fiber on the traser® H3 P 6502 Long Life. The textile bracelet is close to the material of the climbing slings, the natural green color, so I feel it as part of my surrounding environment. It is sleek and when I moved the closing strap to the 6 o’clock position, I feel it as the most comfortable bracelet for everyday use. But this is still not the best thing about my little favorite watch. The unidirectional rotating dual time zone bezel shows me the right time to call my friends and team members, around the globe.
This combination of easy maintenance (quartz movement with lithium battery), light weight and nature friendly colors, is the perfect watch for my type of work. When I do Nature photography and I want to blend with the surrounding terrain, I appreciate most the uniqueness of this professional piece of watch craft. I know I have made the right choice by choosing the traser® H3 P 6502 Long Life for work at height. The commercial liability of falling heavy objects from the exterior of high-rise buildings is too high. That is why my company Eiger Rope Access Work Inc. has strict standards on safety and choose the traser® H3 P 6502 Long Life as a standard issue watch for our Highrise Emergency Aerial Response Team”, says Ivan Kristoff in his True Stories for traser
Case study of Traser H3 Extreme Sports Watch for Search and Rescue Missions
The Traser® H3 Aviator Bucker Jungmann watch shows not only the cardinal directions of a compass, but also, the degree of rope anchoring directions, vital to the safety of a rope access technician working on a high-rise building. The strict Canadian Ministry of Labour By-Laws and Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) stipulate that every primary suspension line and lifeline used in connection with equipment shall be rigged in accordance with generally accepted rigging practice, so that each line hangs vertically from the roof or access level to the ground or level of egress of a worker using the line. This means that the angle of suspension (rope anchoring attachment) should be no more than 30 degree.
“I am delighted to inform you about my new gift. When you come to my presentation in the Dubai HeliShow 2016, you can drop your business card in my booth and have the chance to win a new watch. After the presentations in a random wheeling, we will chose a business card. The winner can receive on spot his gift. The video footage will be shown on this site. For those of you, who can not come to the Dubai Helishow, just drop you contact info, and we will put your name/card in our Swiss Made watch box. If you win, you will be notified and receive your price anywhere in the world.
This Professional watch is inspired by the look and success of the Military Series. It features an illuminated second hand and a carbon fiber reinforced polyamide case. A watch that is appreciated in the law enforcement and protection community for its rugged durability and of course the unique mb-microtec H3 illumination technology which guarantees a night readability which is second to none.
It is equipped with a different bezel (5 -60 minutes), a red second hand and of course with a blue illumination!
I love the NATO strap of these timepieces, and I guarantee you that you will fil this watch as an extension of your pilot’s uniform”, says Kristoff for his Competition Award at the Dubai Helishow 2010
This photo, taken from the Ontario Place, is one of my favorite photographic expressions in the field of illumination. I took it on a negative film after a long exposure in order to capture the natural sky in midnight. Obviously I captured more than that. And the amusing fact was that it happened from the very first shot.
“I choose very carefully my time keeping instruments for work in extreme environment. Especially when I may get a call for emergency response, and I have to rescue a person within the “Golden Medical Hour“. This is why I chose the traser® H3 Extreme Sport Chronograph for my first choice for outdoor activities and extreme sports,” says Ivan

Traser® H3 Long Life watch to the rescue
On November 22, 2009, Ivan Kristoff received a call from the Mayor of the City of Gorna Oriahovica: „Help! I fell off from the high cliffs and I am hurt…“Within a few minutes the Mayor was air lifted and evacuated to safety. In order to do that, Ivan had to conduct, for the very first time in the world, an emergency air evacuation form the central external load attachment of single engine helicopter Enstrom 480B.
His timing in this aerial operation was precisely measured by his traser® H3 Long Life Swiss made watch.

In search for the ultimate watch for extreme sports
By Ivan Kristoff
This weekend I decided to test the traser® H3 Extreme Sport with my hunting and photo safari outfit. I do not hunt, but I like to go in the nature and do some outdoor photography. For this occasion I wear the the outfit, which best matches the surrounding environment. This way I don’t scare the animals when I want to capture photos with the wild life.
Out there in the woods, I prefer to wear a watch with a rubber band above my gloves. In this way, I can read my traser® H3 watch in a blink of an eye. This Swiss made watch has extremely robust double case construction, steel inner container, steel outer case, 990 ft water resistant, and a sapphire crystal.
Progetto “Le quattro stagioni”
Excited by his passion for outdoor and active photography Ivan Kristoff came up with the idea to create a multimedia presentation of visuals and music of his adventure with traserH3 watches.
“When people see a tall building they see a piece of architecture. When I see a tall building I see a thousand different ways how to climb it, rappel down on ropes or evacuate people by air if there is an emergency response call for it. when I am on the top of supper tall buildings, I use the art of movement in space, high above, with the precise timing, which I developed over the years. That precise timing is what keeps me alive, when I hang up in the air a few hundred meters above the ground.
When I see a beautiful piece of watch craft I think of the mixture of timing and design. Same as leasoning to music, it is a mixture of timing and notes. This is why I decided to show my passion for wearing traser® H3 professional watches in photos and music. For this year, I will take my friends for a ride, take them to places where a few people would dare to go, fly to heights where no birds can fly, and we will do it while taking photos of the exciting world of extreme sports where the timing of execution of precise movements in the air will be measured by traser® H3.

“The Highrise Emergency Aerial Response Team (HEART) has strict standards on safety and choose the Traser® H3 Aviator Jungmeister Watch as a standard issue watch for its rope access and rescue technicians.
The Swiss made Aviator Jungmeister watch shows not only the cardinal directions of a compass, but also, the degree of rope anchoring directions, vital to the safety of rope access technicians and suspended access operators who are working on super high rise buildings. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and strict Canadian Ministry of Labor By-Laws stipulate that every primary suspended rope and lifeline used in connection with equipment shall be rigged in accordance with generally accepted rigging practice, so that each line hangs vertically from the roof or access level to the ground or level of egress of a worker using the line. This means that the angle of suspension (rope anchoring attachment) should be no more than 30 degrees.
With a glance at the 1 o’clock digit of the Aviator watch scale, the rope-men has a good reference for the right positioning of his lifeline. The 360 degree scale can be used as a quick visual reference for safe practice during anchor attachments in the vertical environment, where Horizontal anchorage cables shall have a minimum of 30° of slag
Due to the trigalight illumination technology, this Traser® H3 time piece can be a reliable instrument watch for rope work during day and night“, says Ivan.
Equalization: Anchor equalization is the process of combining two or more anchors in the build of a single equalized anchor. This is the method used in a redundant belay anchor, as mentioned above. If assembled correctly, the load can be distributed among the individual anchors, rather than placing all the load on a single anchor point. This decreases the chance that any of the anchor points will fail, and, if a point does fail, the other(s) should still be able to hold.
When forming an equalized anchor, it is important to take into consideration the angle formed between the two pieces of protection — the “V-angle”. One must try to minimize this angle as much as possible, because the greater the V-angle, the more force will be placed on each piece of protection. As shown below, if the V-angle is greater than 120 degrees, the load on each anchor comprising the equalized anchor will actually be greater than the load on the rope connected to the equalized anchor. This is a hazardous situation which makes it worse to use equalization than not at all, and should be avoided.
If the load force (To load in the image at right) is FLoad and the V-angle is θV, then the force on each anchor is given by:
Resulting from this expression, we can deduce:
- At a V-angle of 30 degrees, each of the two anchors bear a force of about 52% of the original load.
- At 45 degrees, each anchor bears about 54% of the load.
- At 60 degrees, each anchor bears about 58% of the load.
- At 90 degrees, each anchor bears about 71% of the load.
- At 120 degrees, each anchor bears a force equivalent to 100% of the original load. An angle this large should never be used.
Anchor equalization -Two-point equalized anchor, using two trees as protection points. The V-angle is shown as the angle formed between the slings. (Source: Wikipedia.org)

The Power of Light
Ivan Kristoff is filming a series of documentary films for extreme sports. The Canadian visionary artist who, among his professional activities, is famous for his hobby in extreme sports photography, will capture the element of danger in his new project ”The Power of Light“. Inspired by the night cinematography, Ivan Kristoff has decided to do a series of photo sessions and a documentary film on people who work for emergency services, tactical units and have fun in the extreme sports.Ivan Kristoff is an expert in high altitude rope access and aerial operations. On a professional basis, he is the owner of Eiger Rope Access Work Inc. in Canada and a few companies in Bulgaria. On the volunteer side, he is the founder of the first volunteer urban high rise rescue team – the Canadian Highrise Emergency Aerial Response Team (H.E.A.R.T.). Over the years he has developed strong relationship with brave men and women, who have devoted their lives to help other people. Some of his friends have lost their own lives in attempt to save people and make our world a better place for living. As a contribution to their efforts and selfless humanitarian causes, Ivan Kristoff devotes his time and efforts in showing some of the work and way of training of such interesting people. The main players and real life heroes are emergency responders, pilots and volunteer rescuers. They will be shown in real extreme situations and in situations when they rely on innovative systems, like trigalight, and technology that helps them to be more precise and effective during rope access in vertical and aerial operations. The first photo sessions started last year with the assistance of 3D photographer Dany Jordanov and art director Gergana Tsvetkova. Together they produced an interesting 3D presentation of the environment and interesting photos

Urban bungee jumping
by Ivan Kristoff
The first time I did my bungee jumping, I was thrilled with the fact that I had to break my sense of safety over my will to experience a “free” fall in urban environment. I knew that it would be too hard for my heart, because my professional life and development of safety procedures were in contrast of what I had to do and rely on somebody else’s inspection of safety and equipment maintenance. I was not used to that. I am used to work on my own, check my own safety and maintain my safety equipment. Above all, I supervise all my aspects of airborne operations and safety procedures. And I am always sure that things go as planned, and I can deal with the unplanned elements of surprise.

I think, that in this photo you will notice how I have depicted the shape of the outer bezel of the traser®H3 Extreme Sport watch compared to interesting bridges. In addition to that, the shape of the reflection of an ancient bridge I found in Bulgaria, has the shape of a watch band. The shape of the mirrored mountain valley depicts the the shape of a Sand watch. I think that this is an interesting perspective to look at the relationship between architectural and watch-craft masterpieces.
