The new project for the SPECIALIZED RESCUE ASSOCIATION is to create new experimental initiatives, like utilizing a helicopter anchoring/rigging system simulator for non-profit air rescue training in urban environment.
The International Vertical Access Network (I.V.A.N.) is a non-profitable and non-formal network of pears with interest rope access and rescue initiatives with a broad range of applications. One of them is the experimental project for creating a new academical program for rope access technicians, who can achieve a Bachelor’s degree in vertical and aerial rope access work. That is why we are building the Institute for Vertical Access operatioNs, under the same abbreviation (I.V.A.N.). During this process, we will use our 11-storey crane as a vertical and aerial platform for specialized technical and confined space rescue training.
I.V.A.N. endorses new disruptive volunteer rescue models, with a particular focus on the ongoing (r)evolution for this sector. We support in early stage concepts of ideas, where our expertise and experience can leverage our sponsorship to help realize the full growth potential of new initiatives for vertical/aerial rope rescue. We assist volunteers in the following areas:
In extreme urban environment
With world record holders
For the Rescuer of the Future
