Space Art Limited Edition watch
This year is the 12th Anniversary of the first space services on the exterior of the Antenna Mast of the world’s tallest building. In 2003, the CN Tower was the tallest structure in the world. Ivan Kristoff, a Canadian aerial and vertical access expert was hired to solve the problems on the top of the Wonder of the modern world at a height of 1815 feet and 5 inches.

For this reason, Ivan decided to work on a design for a series of Art Limited Edition watches and special parts for rope rescue and emergency response motorcycles.

One for me and one hundred for you

Ivan Kristoff’s passion for art, photography, and big toys like Swiss-made watches, Italian motorcycles and helicopters has inspired him to do a Limited edition of watches dedicated to the 110th Anniversary of Fortis Watches – a company that keeps constantly in touch with pilots.

In 2012, the MENA representatives of the established Swiss Watch brand FORTIS, manufacturer of the first automatic wrist-watch of the world, was a partner to Kristoff’s “Presentation of the world’s novelty” at the Dubai Helishow 2012.  At this event, Ivan became the proud owner of the Big Steel Limited edition watch. The B-47 Big Steel watch is # 97/2012, symbolizing the year ’97 of the last century, in which he set his first world record for rappelling from a flying helicopter. As an appreciation for the many gifts from his friends and partners from the Middle East office of Fortis, Ivan is expressing his gratitude with a series of conceptual photographs.

F.O.R.T.I.S. Adventure Rally
We are going for a ride of a lifetime with Ivan’s  Emergency vehicle car.  A team of five adventure lovers and filmmakers will test drive this sports car in the high mountains in Bulgaria. The purpose of this event is to search for the best location scouting for the F.O.R.T.I.S. (Films for aerial Operations, Rescue, Technical Innovation and Safety) project. They will film a series of short films for extreme ballooning, in which he will showcase the new developments in technical innovation and safety for pilots and air rescuers. At the Dubai Helishow 2020, Ivan Kristoff can present how he trains his emergency responders to drive and ride in extreme conditions and crises.

With students, he started filming the development of this concept and how emergency responders will train to achieve their goals…

Phase 1: filming 16 episodes of extreme and trailblazing training. Each episode will include 5-minute segments called “Extreme with friends”. The first episode will be introduced to the serial. The next episodes will be divided into three categories: Sea – Air – Land.

Ivan Kristoff has always been fascinated by aeronautical instruments for extreme professionals and by helicopters for extreme operations. Over the years he developed his ideas to design the visual parameters of a watch for ER and specialized rope access work.
